It was our pleasure to welcome delegates from across the UK and Europe to our latest CPD Accredited conference workshop, which was again at the wonderful setting of Church House Conference Centre, London, in the shadow of Westminster Abbey. The team from Church House excelled themselves by cheerfully and willingly following our guidance to make all aspects of the venue as accessible and autism-friendly as possible, and with not one quiet room – but two. We were also gratified that our decision to restrict numbers made for a more comfortable event with ample space for all. Our apologies to those who we had to disappoint but we are sure they will understand.
The conference and workshops were expertly chaired by our director Linda Woodcock and Associate Damian Milton. Our speakers were all first rate in the clarity and relevance of their wide ranging presentations, and we are most grateful to them and to all delegates for their positive, enthusiastic and informed contribution to the workshops. We are pleased to bring you the summary of the main points of these and of Universal Design. We are now considering our next steps in terms of the development of co-produced training and advice in support of a more inclusive society.
